Details are being worked out now how to leverage the FLDIGI software package in this year's Field Day effort.
What immediately comes to mind includes :
* using FLDIGI in PSK mode to make the best use of QRP transceivers and small battery / solar systems
* using FLARQ in beacon mode as a way to call CQ ...
* having a mini-contest during FD where a FLAMPS bulletin is transmitted by KT5DIG and stations send back a FLMSG acknowledging the receipt of bulletin.
* using FLDIGI and BPQAPRS to also exchange short messages during FD.
